Having an extractor fan installed and fitted is quite an easy process and can be done with little mess and disruption.
Extractor fans stop moisture and pollutants generated from kitchens, bathrooms, shower rooms and utility rooms building up and spreading to other rooms in the house.
Part F of the building regulations require an extraction rate of:
- 60 litres / second in Kitchens (30 litres / second adjacent to hob)
- 30 litres / second in Utility rooms
- 15 litres / second in Bathrooms
- 6 litres / second in W.C.
Installing an extractor fan can usually be completed in half a day to a day, depending on your requirements.
All work will be tested, inspected and certified to BS 7671 17th Edition quality and safety standards. Part P certifcate will be issued upon completion of work.
